Sometimes innovation doesn’t start with a pitch deck or a product roadmap. Sometimes it starts with a fitness coach, a spreadsheet, and an email that says, “Can you help us out?”
This summer, one of our clients asked us if we could build a simple tool to help them manage bookings for their building-wide fitness classes. Nothing fancy. Just something that… worked.
They had tried a few existing options, but they were either too expensive, too complicated, or too self-service. What they really wanted was something dead simple. No registrations. No app downloads. No SaaS account setup. Just a clear link, a few clicks, and voilà, it’s booked.
Also: could we manage the payments, notify the coach, and generate reports? Sure. Why not?
In between iced coffees and air conditioning survival mode (hello, Belgian heatwave and family visit in Singapore), we put together a lightweight solution using our internal framework. Think: low-friction web app, powered by good vibes and Mollie (our preferred EU-based payment platform).
It’s not an app, it’s just a website. But for users, it feels like magic. And for the client? It’s one less operational headache.
Belgian workplaces are evolving fast. Hybrid work, flex offices, wellness programs, tenant experience platforms… everything is becoming more service-driven. But a lot of great ideas still fall apart at the “how do we manage it?” stage.
Sometimes, all it takes is a little bit of custom tooling. Not overbuilt, not overbranded, just purpose-built.
We’ve always been good at making digital signage, WiFi, and building tech feel invisible. Now we’re applying the same thinking to internal tools that make life easier for people managing spaces.
Fitness bookings today. Maybe bike locker check-ins tomorrow. Who knows.
