A couple of weeks ago, we launched a small yet powerful little tool: paste.flatturtle.cloud. That’s Paste, not Pasta… 🍝
This new addition allows us to share specific content, code, and configurations while preserving formatting and style, making it easier for our team and clients to collaborate effectively.
While there are other providers out there, like Pastebin.com, we found that they tend to be a bit polluted and not very clean. Using these public platforms means we’re not in control of the data and content, and they are often filled with spam. This compromises both the security and the efficiency of sharing information.
With paste.flatturtle.cloud, we have a dedicated platform that ensures what we want to share, is parsed safely and displayed properly via a browser.
Having our own pastebin tool means we have complete control over the data shared. This is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the information. Due to its public nature though, we will never share confidential or private information via this (or any) pastebin tool. That being said, all URLs are unique and extremely hard to guess, so it would be unfeasible to bruteforce the URLs in an attempt to find ‘secret’ information.
Unlike some public platforms, paste.flatturtle.cloud is a controlled environment free from spam and unwanted content. This ensures that the focus remains on the shared information without distractions. You may occassionally get a privacy preserving Captcha to prevent abuse by bots; but it should very rarely pop up (and best of all, in most cases it’s auto resolved for you by your browser).
