Hey everyone,
As Spring came to an end and Summer is in town, it was time for some cleaning up… :)
It’s been years since we at FlatTurtle last blogged. But don’t take our silence as a sign of inactivity. Quite the contrary!
We’ve been incredibly busy. However, I must admit we’ve somewhat neglected the marketing side of things.
I’m excited to announce that we’ve migrated from our old Tumblr blog to a new self-hosted Hugo blog. This transition to static HTML hosted on Cloudflare Pages means super fast load times and a more streamlined experience for you, our readers. Farewell Tumblr, we’ve had good times, but the world has changed. :)
Stay tuned because Nik and I will provide a more detailed update about what’s new at FlatTurtle in the coming weeks. We’re aiming to blog once every couple of weeks (or months) to keep everyone updated on our progress and share exciting developments.

P.S.: Thinking back, we’ve tried WordPress (in its infancy), then moved to Tumblr as that was really easy (no need to maintain, meant for micro-blogging: just a picture or a sentence), and now we’re using Hugo.
What a journey it’s been.
We did import all the content from our Tumblr blog and converted it to Markdown, and I believe that all assets (images, files, etc.) should properly redirect now as well. If you do notice something that’s broken, send me an email! Due to the odd nature of Tumblr being more of a micro-blog, most of the imported Tumblr content has no proper time, or not a lot of content in the post. It is what it is. ¯\(ツ)/¯
