Quick update: we’ve redesigned the digital signage on our meeting room displays. New layout, same information, easier to read.
There are three states:
When the room is free. Today the v1 displays show a generic Walk on in, since they don’t know about the booking site. That changes with the upcoming v2 of our reservation module: the displays will show the exact booking URL on screen, so you can book before walking in.
When there’s a booking coming up, you see how long the room is still free and what’s next.
When a meeting is in progress, the title, time slot, and a progress bar show how much longer it runs.
The displays also switch automatically between light and dark mode based on sunset. You won’t notice it much in summer, but in Belgian winters, when it’s dark by four, it makes a real difference.
No action needed. The new design is rolling out to every existing meeting room display.
