Every founder has a journey. For Yeri, it began with iRail, a non-profit he co-founded with Pieter Colpaert to open up Belgian railway data (NMBS-SNCB) for everyone. From this early passion for data, FlatTurtle was first born, as a digital signage company visualizing mobility and other useful information around a point of interest.
He later relocated to Singapore to join Google, where he worked on IT services across all offices, supporting over 150,000 employees and vendors. From there, he moved to Cloudflare, focusing on networks, security, and internet infrastructure as a Technical Account Manager for major APAC customers.
After 8 years abroad, Yeri returned to his roots: FlatTurtle. This time, with a clear mission, helping property owners and managers deliver reliable connectivity, smarter buildings, and better tenant experiences.
What started 12+ years ago as a bootstrapped startup has now evolved into a trusted PropTech partner for Europe’s leading real estate players.
Today, FlatTurtle unites enterprise WiFi, IT management, and proactive monitoring, simplifying building operations and creating real value for both tenants and asset owners.
His Big Tech experience sharpened his skills at FlatTurtle, he puts them to work solving real challenges for building owners, property managers and tenants.
