FlatTurtle is proud to have partnered with Axxio to solve a unique and time-sensitive challenge for one of their embassy clients in Brussels. The embassy required a solution to connect a desktop and several Johnson Controls devices while ensuring strict physical segregation from their highly secure internal network.
The desktop manages various internal office space systems, such as HVAC, sensors, and more. However, due to strict security policies, the desktop and Johnson Controls devices could not be connected to the existing secured embassy network. Installing a new wired network was not feasible due to the complexity and high costs of running cables to the necessary floor. A quick and effective solution was required to meet their needs.
FlatTurtle provided a secure and efficient solution within 10 days of the initial request:
4G-Based Network Setup: We installed an enterprise-grade 4G module to connect the desktop and Johnson Controls devices to a physically separate, secure network. This ensured complete segregation from the embassy’s primary network, maintaining their strict security standards.
Secure Remote Management: To address the challenge of physically accessing the embassy due to access restrictions, we installed and manage a secure remote control software on the desktop. This allows TEM technicians to operate the system remotely without needing on-site access.
Comprehensive Management: FlatTurtle continues to manage the secure software, ensuring smooth operation, regular updates, and full control over access.
FlatTurtle’s innovative solution not only met the embassy’s unique requirements but also ensured that Axxio could deliver exceptional service to their client. This project underscores our commitment to providing reliable and secure connectivity solutions, even in the most unusual environments.
